Job Title: Credit and Collections Specialist
Location: Muharrem Fejza, Pristina (On-site)
Working Hours: 15:00 - 23:00 (local time)
LS Global specializes in optimizing business operations worldwide through expert outsourcing. We are currently recruiting for one of our clients for a Credit and Collections Specialist position. The Credit and Collections Specialist will be responsible for analyzing the creditworthiness of customers and managing credit accounts to minimize financial risk for LS Global.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer’s credit history to make risk decisions, drawing conclusions based on a customer’s credit condition and the established credit policy
- Review existing accounts for credit limit increases, reductions, account holds, and assist customers
- Enter, maintain, and manipulate data to set up open terms accounts and manage existing customer credit limits
- Analyze a variety of data – customer credit applications, business credit reports, and credit references for decisioning on customers’ credit limit
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure credit limits are set appropriately, and customers with past due balances are contacted
- Make outbound and receive inbound customer collection calls
- Work with the collection of delinquent accounts, negotiating with customers in a manner that will assure continued strong business relations
- Use strong, professional communication skills to resolve customer disputes and generate collection
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable to reconcile accounts and streamline collection process
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting and finance
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a credit and collection environment is preferred
- Must possess a great customer service attitude, have excellent phone, verbal, and written skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of applicable governing regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
